A boat safari on the Olifants River offers a unique perspective on the wildlife of the Greater Kruger area. As you glide peacefully over the water, you spot crocodiles basking in the sun, hippos guarding their territory, and elephants coming to drink at the shore. The boat safaris take place in the late afternoon, so you witness a spectacular African sunset. Upon return, you join a braai along the shore – an authentic South African barbecue under the starry sky. The Olifants River is a paradise for bird watchers. The Friends of Bambanani Foundation runs 96 schools, 2 disability centers and the Soccer League in which nearly 4000 children participate.
